Haresfield Beacon is National Trust land and is on the Cotswold Way so please be courteous to walkers and dog walkers.
There are 2 slopes. One flies SSW at 51.779343, -2.255928 and is very near to the car park. The landing here is across the front of the slope - only really suitable for foamy type models.
The other slope is about 300 metres further along the Cotswold Way heading West and flies S and SSE at 51.778453,-2.260284, this a lovely South facing ridge with a landing area just behind the slope, we have flown 1/4 scale models here, the landings need some care as there can be a rotor of wind causing turbulence in strong winds.
Access
There is a small car park on the unclassified road that runs near to the SSW slope. From the car park go through the kissing gate and walk due West for 50 metres to reach the SSW slope.
