Hole of Horcum is a club site for North Yorkshire Moors Ridge Soaring Club the site is on National Trust land, and club membership is mandatory.

The site is a bowl shaped slope that gives consistent smooth lift in a SSE -SSW wind.

Landings are in soft heather that can save the odd dodgy landing.

Access

Park in the car park on the A169 ( free for club members displaying membership card), cross the road and follow path round to the left and through a gate, once through the gate walk for a further 300 meters and you will find a grassy part of the slope to fly from, landing are in the heather other side of aces path.
