Huge Bowl (1 mile across) with nothing in front until you get to Ireland. Best for W and SW winds. There is NE facing ridge off the main road about 1/2 mile up the hill. " local pubs (Moorcock and White House - 1/2 mile in either direction) do excellent good value food.
The bowl is to the East of the road - there is a field that floaters can land in on the west of the road.
Access
Either park on the edge of the road - on the verge or at the small car park at the foot of Roman Road. Need to walk up an obvious sheep track for about 100m to a convenient ledge where you can fly from. Fly back into the bowl for the best lift - you don't need to overfly the road
