This a brilliant slope, good clean lift, but only works from N to NNE. Landing is best done across the slope in front of you using the bracken as a cushion. Care needs to be used to avoid the saplings which have been known to jump up and catch a wing or two. Landing on the narrow hill top can be subject to heavy curlover effects.
This is National Trust land and is on the Cotswold Way so please be coureous to walkers and dog walkers
Access
There is a National Trust car park at 51.692778, -2.338333 or Ordinance Survey Map ST 76712 99388.
Walk up the track from the car park heading SE-ish and towards a house. Pass to the left side of the house and continue on track trough woods for about 100 metres. Turn left and follow up steep track to the top of the hill, about 400 metres. Walk along the top of the escarpment on the track for about 350 metres and then fly off the escarpment on your left.
