1400ft hill. One helluva climb but once you get there you won't go down. Beautiful views of the Moray Firth and Moray to the north and west, with rural Aberdeenshire everywhere else. Flying is magnificent at the top and you can fly pretty much north to south west. The west side is the weakest by far. In south wind you can spare yourself the climb and use the more modest south side but it is still a tough chomp through bracken and heather.
Access
Car parking at the foot of the hill to the east and rough path all the way to the top. Not for the faint hearted. Alternatively park at the south side and walk half way up for pleasurable flying on a south wind only.
